Vacuum lines

Post by Matdeo »

Hey guys, I know there is few a posts about this but would anyone have photos or English diagrams of the vacuum line setup on a 1992 mu 4jb1t belt driven. I got the car dismantled and I’ve repaired the engine and reassembled everything. The dramas I have is the vacuum lines and the tacho isn’t reading correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

To get it running you only need the line from the intake to the top of the fuel pump. This is the boost sence. and the vac lines from the back of the alternator to the brake servo and for now block the other side. This should run to the solinoids by the air cleaner which control the fast idle and emissions gear but these are optional

wastegate is a short hose next to the turbo. The hoses we havnt fitted run things like cold start etc which isnt needed where you live
