Trans mount

Hey guys what is the big centre bolt for on isuzu trans mount? Im getting a knock when i turn engine off, the two slanted rubbers here look fine, is there supposed to be rubber around that centre bolt and should it be tight? Cheersimage.jpeg

A guess would be that the bolt is a fail safe like the hook shapes on the engine mounts. If an engine mount rubber breaks the engine cant fall out and I suspect this bolt has a similar function. Leave it the way it is.

Turns out the new engine mounts slightly raised the engine enough for exhaust mount to hit the floor
