Hey Rob what is the standard timing on the 4jb1 usually? I've got here a timing spec of .5mm at tdc for the 4jg2 with the csd blocked off.

hey has anyone on here upgraded there pump to a 12mm hydraulic head? on either a 4jg2 or 4jb1? ive got my 12mm pump on the truck and running but have a problem only on verry light load it has a bad knock but accelerates through it. it sounds like the pump is to advanced. i set my timing up at .5mm ...

yea they seem to be a tough motor and hold together when setup correctly. im currently building a compound setup for a guy up north atm for a td42 he also has had a cnc ported head and billet main caps etc this is a full on competition truck. current setup runs 37psi we are aiming for 45-50psi with ...

We play around with a lot of TD42's down here. I have customers running the 12mm pumps with our turbo setups and we are achieving 200+hp quite comfortably on around 20-22psi with a good cooler setup.
