4jh1tc wont rev past 3000rpm

hi guys
I am having a problem with my ra rodeo it wont rev past 3000 rpm when in neutrual or driving on the road, It drives fine in the lower revs but after 2500 rpm there is nothing, it will even do 100km/h empty but wont tow a load. It has given a code p0400 which is egr flow I have cleaned the egr valve and checked its operation its good. have replace evrv valve have replaced maf sensor. No change. have played with tps position because I cleaned the intake manifold and may have move it no change. I have also sprayed a little fuel through the evap port in front off the turbo with foot flat to the floor in neutral the revs still does not change it should rev up when I do this.

Have you tried reseting the computer? Sorry dont know how. It may still think its faulty

hi geeves yes we have done that its just disconnect the negative on the battery for a couple off mins
