Hi I have a1989 Isuzu MU with a Ute lid on back just wanted to know if there’s any way of putting normal hard top roof on so I can put rear seats in
If any one can help I’ll be great full

You could change the complete body or maybe weld a roof on. Both would require low volume cert in NZ The mus are an all steel body and there may be differences in the 89 to later bodys you wont know about untill after you have cut up a perfectly good body. Better to buy a later model

Ye I’ve looked in to a new body can get a 94 for 650 and it all mounts on the same
But I’m trying to see if someone wants to swap my truck for theirs cuase some one might want the Ute

The ute body is quite rare in NZ On the other hand most of the utes are 2.6 petrol and all other Mus diesel
