Isuzu Wizard Steering rack

My vehicle is a Right hand drive 1998 Isuzu Wizard UES25/V6/4WD/Gasoline engine and I have been trying to locate a complete steering rack, new or rebuilt for it. I have been trying every available place to find one but most of what I am seeing are for Left Hand drive vehicles like the Rodeo, Honda Passport etc. Do you know if there is a way I can adapt these steering racks to work on my vehicle?

Are you sure it is a rack. I have a 96 wizard and it has a box not a rack

It's a rack and pinion steering assembly.

Might have to look outside of America. Try http://www.4x4isuzu.com but dont know if they will export to you. Otherwise ebay etc looking at Australia NewZealand and Japan

Thanks buddy but I am way down in the Caribbean. Australia or NZ will cost me an arm and a leg...hehe

Caribian islands dont have a lot in the way of second hand parts. Most times you look to America as its close but USA is lhd. Is there a workshop that can rebuild your rack. It will be the same parts as the lhd. Otherwise the only other option is buy a lhd one and swap the internals

Thank you Geeves. There are lots of Foreign used part dealers in Trinidad that caters for vehicles sold here but some of the vehicles found in the other Caribbean Islands are different. The Isuzu SUV that I own is in Grenada and it was in an accident and the complete rack and housing was damaged. It would have been ideal if the housing was intact so that I could have rebuilt it with LHD parts. No one here in Trinidad rebuilds steering racks.
