New guy

Post by MattyOG »

Thought I would finally join so here I am

Around a year ago I decided I would buy a 4wd something roomy inside but looked good out side,
Found myself a tidy 97 3.1 wizard with 161,000km on the clock mud tyres manual hubs and well looked after tucked away at a car yard.

After many people telling me I will regret buying a Isuzu I still haven't looked back, goes well good off-road and just all round practical.

Hope to get as much info on these wizards first time diesel owner and still enjoying it

Hi Matty
The wizards do have a few quirks but generally good cars. Dont neglect routine maintenance. I bought my wizard 5 years ago

Yes there quirks like the rear door not unlocking the tailgate squeak

Have also found the dip stick level trick must be between the two marks
Still a good truck and wouldn't go back.

Hopefully in a few months will be going to a bigger exhaust to free it up a bit and get a wee bit more go out of the old girl

The rear door is a good trick. Try opening it with the handbrake on. After a year of owning a MU I finally asked the question.
