so I have recently acquired a swb manual diesel bighorn
now as far as a lift goes are the springs different between swb and lwb and if so if I put lwb springs in mine will it give me a lift

about 20mm lift. Enough to be usefull and you can still tell the wof man they are original bighorn springs

20mm hardly worth the effort just take a dump befor I leave
there are some cheap wizard lift springs for sale will they do the business as I am a wof man myself so not to concerned with that side of things

I measured these on my 2 wagons when I did the swap and the wizard springs should fit. They will be taller than stated though.
From memory the wizard spring was slightly thicker than the swb but thinner than the lwb Same no turns as the swb but the lwb had fewer turns. For me the lwb springs made a $25 lift with change

and how was the performance although I am 6ft 6 I realise height isn't every thing ha ha ha

It made very little difference to handling if any at all. I was expecting it to stiffen up the back but I carry enough things to account for another 20mm anyway so that balances things. The coil rear moves very very well and the longer arms in the front ifs means its at least as good as the old well modified ubs55 was straight from the box. I still havnt tried it without sway bars

so if i want to raise it i can just buy some lift springs for either a lwb or swb not also i can still just wind torsions in front and carrry out a ball joint flip

There are separate susspension lift kits for swb and lwb. If you travel light get the swb springs If your like me and know the kitchen sink is in the gear box somewhere then your better with the lwb ones. The lwb ones will give more lift than stated. Front end adjust the torsions . Not sure how nessecsary the ball joint flip is on the ubs69. Its certainly not required at 20mm.
