What turbo have you got? And what are you looking for when upgrading it?

It's a standard turbo on a 4jj1, I'm wanting to achieve 300hp

300hp Why
For towing the brakes chassis and lack of weight have more impact than horsepower. Its all very well being able to pull bigger loads faster but you still have to be able to stop it and coax it round corners
For performance its still a high set 2 ton beast. 300hp will see every power pole saying give me a liverpool kiss
300hp is nearly double standard

They are variable vain turbo so lots of options, but no bolt on upgrades that i have seen, the factory turbo has good flow specs, no point upgrading the turbo without a massive fueling upgrade, bigger nozzles on injectors higher pump and rail pressure then engine light will stay on, just depends on budget

For me it's not why, but why not. I may see how things go down the track and rebuild the bottom end.
I have a piggyback ecu that gives full control over injectors, boost etc. My plan is to do turbo and exhaust next followed by 30% injector tips (oh and a clutch in there somewhere).
I was looking to see if anyone can recommend a good turbo guru, that can help me out.

The clutches are rubbish and the gearboxes on the rodeo 4jj1 had lots of issues, issues were fixed in the colorado, as i said you will need to make a manifold and find a turbo with the spec you want, to get that power it will be laggy, the whole engine is very strong if its serviced and you dont dent the sump
