Hi all,
Recently my wizard has started using an absoluteb bucket load of fuel around 350-400 from a tank, ive had the entire thing serviced and im still using a buckket load of fuel, is there anything else i could look at to save just abit of fuel?
Fuel Economy?
Re: Fuel Economy?
What sort of engine do you have?
Re: Fuel Economy?
How many litres to that 300km? If the fuel guge sender fails it shows empty very early.
What engine Im guessing 4jx1
what sort of driving?
Is it still performing ok?
Any smell of diesel under the bonnet?

Re: Fuel Economy?
Did you ever dyno that conversion? It would be interesting to know how it compared to the 4jb1 and 4jg2 engines

Re: Fuel Economy?
cruising open road,2 hour stint crawling a river bed then open road for the rest of weekend. put $40 diesel in@1.49.9 per litre and so far done 130km and almost back on fuel light
Re: Fuel Economy?
Ive seen the fuel guage on the old bighorn move through a quarter in a 30km in 30 minute drive and that could achieve 8.3l/100k cruising. Off road really eats fuel
Also consider bigger tyres eat fuel plus the bigger diameter means adding distance to the reading.
