will 2.8 Steering pump fit a 3.1??

Just wondering if a 2.8 steering pump will fit a 3.1, i have a spare parts mu with a 2.8 for my Honda jaz (mu) which is a 3.1. The pump had been run empty on fluid numerous time due to a hose buggered out and then after that the steering box started leaking a lot, so finally swapped over steering boxes today (which was a complete mission on its own...) the steering in the 2.8 was a lot smoother and nicer than what my 3.1 is with the steering box swapped over, so pretty keen on swapping the pumps over but i don't want to take it out unless i know it fits.
