New CB... Now engine likes to second start

Hi all.

(Engine or Electrical... I'm not sure where to post this one.)
Just installed a new CB to my 92 Mu.
Then a day later the ignition starts acting weird.

I'll turn the key all the way until just before the ignition notch and the starter motor turns but nothing happens.

I have to take it back a notch. Then try again and then on the second time... It starts!

No idea what could be causing this.
I just know it's only just started doing it.

Anyone got any ideas?

At a guess you have created a short between the aux and start leads. Have a close look at your wiring

I've got the CB positive wired to a Yellow hot wire that was free behind the stereo.

The CB is grounded to the metal around it, same as the turbo timer.

UPDATE! My Starter motor was just tired haha.
It just crapped out on me. Refurbing it now.
