98 engine

My newish year 99 MU requires much more cranking then my old 92 MU to start. It it glow plugs or just different engine design?

4jx1 is a very different engine. It wont start till the oil pressure in the injector rail is high enough. Thinner oil might help but Rod stated about a year ago in a different thread that dealers are told if it starts under 20 seconds its good and normal
