nissan van engines

Post by geeves »

In the bar for obvious reasons.
Been looking to replace the wizard with a people mover/ camper van for a while and in that time the only isuzu fargos that have come up have been too expensive but I have seen a few 97 and 98 nissan largo vans which size wise fit my requirements perfectly and on paper at least economy isnt that bad. Only catch is that they are all well clear of 200k on the clock and although they pass all the usual checks what is the reliability of this combo (yes all autos)

Theyve all been petrol 2.4 so guessing z24. Is it interchangable with the td27? I know those motors are indestructible unless electronic control even if not the most powerful in there class.
