Hey there I was wondering If anyone new what a jackaroo 4jx1 running rough could be caused by cheers

My Bighorn has a switch on righthand side of dash which partially closes off the exhaust this made mine run rough, as soon as I switched it off it was fine. Its some sort of warm up device maybe you have knocked this by accident like I did.

on the 4jx1 everything is done by the computer
Rough running will be an injector, ecu, sensor or wiring loom not necessarily in that order
