Got the braided brake lines made up to connect the hydro handbrake today too. Cost 200 from power brakes compared to a qoute 590 from enzed! Still need to cut and polish thepai t before all the sap etc sets in. Got turbo back aswell, fresh from the rebuild and high flow . Looks tough as now, just waiting on new fittings as the oil and water lines are different on the new housing...
Pics up soon..

looks good, how are you doing your hydro handbrake? All of mine i have fitted you cant get enough leverage on it to hold the truck from moving

hmm havent heard of that problem before, hydros seem to have a good rep, other than sticking under extreme circumstances on the track. is yours running disc or drum brakes?
in terms of the setup im running the rear brake lines run through the handbrake, then continue onto the rear brakes. when the brake is not operated the fluid passes straight through and operates the rear brakes as usual. when the lever is pulled, the pressure from the hydro acts on and locks the rear brakes. (in theory)

im not actually using the hydro as the park brake as that illegal anyway but i have a mechanic lever alongside that operates the rear rotor fitted to the tailshaft. the hydro is mainly for driving braking like hill starts etc where the tailshaft is at risk of damage from the force....

hopefully the the mechanic park brake has enough leverage to tightly hold the tailshaft rotor. and as you have suggested, hopefully thr hydro work correctly in holding the wheels in the rear.

tacked up the new engine mount brackets as the patrol ones sit way to high and are offset which doesnt suit the mu engine...
the string shows the driveshaft alignment and angles...
