:oops: sorry if I offended you! I agree that the nissans running gear is one of the best and that the Mus looks cool!

started rustkilling and removing as much as possible to prep the chassis:

primed and painted the chassis today :)

removed the original body mounts from the patrol chassis..

cleaned up shock mounts and painted coils get an idea of what my black and white scheme will look like..

put the springs, shocks and brake lines back on today. will repaint the brake lines and fuel lines once they are fitted..

realised today that the gq petrol fuel pump runs to the right of the vehicle so i removed the fuel hoses and will have to use the mu ones to trace down the left hand side ofthe chassis, better than having two stupidly long rubber fuel hoses crossing the motor to reach the injector pump and fuel filter..

still in the process of putting new seals in the sterring box. was trying to get the little oil seal that seals the steering column input shaft but seems i can only get a complete seal kit at 140$....

thanks for the comments guys.

muzilla, im looking forward to getting onto the engine too :) cant wait to get the rebuild kit and start stripping the motor down. that will probably become next priority oncei get the carport up and buil the a-frame to support the shell in the air..
