Thanks for the comments guys.

The rims are a -23 offset.

I wish the motor rebuild was just pistons and liners..
The motor rebuild included;
Conrods reco'd, cylinder head reco'd with new valves throughout, new cam shaft bearings, 56mm cam shaft plug fitted, new liners fitted and heights checked, injectors reco'd, new water pump, new timing belt, new pistons and rings, new mains and big end and conrod bearings, every gasket changed, fuel pump reco'd, new custom turbo and new custom intercooler.

Drives like a dream now though :D

Don't ever buy anything from TJM Campbellfield. Pack of c#*ts working there.
First time I went there to inquire about a bar for the MU, I was told that they wouldn't sell me one because I'd cut it up and then try to return it because it wouldn't fit. So I told the bloke to go get f$%ked and bought a second hand one for $400 and if it had not been for the body lift, this 1998 TF Rodeo bar would simply slide on and bolt up.

After buying the bar, I needed new bumperettes and indicators, so I returned to TJM, pointed out the fact that my "98 TF Rodeo" TJM Bar fitted perfectly and purchased the parts. Once home, I opened the boxes and find bits aremissing.
When I called them up to explain my dilemma, the response I got was "What do you want me to do about it?".
Needless to say, I got what I was missing and will never shop there again.

The end plates required some bashing outwards to get them in-line with the front quarters, but a friend of mine is working on replacement end caps that will bolt onto these bars and suit the MU's beefy guards.
If anyone is interested in a set, I'll get him to make up a few more. I'm unsure if the ARB bars have end caps that bolt on like the TJM ones, but if they do, I'll give him an extra project :)

Modification to my bar done by my mate Ox at Oxtrailia - Ph: 0433 242 446

What did you use for the plastic flares, looks like what I need for compliance.

If you happen to trip over any other second hand bars ...

I've only got a 2" suspension lift and a 50mm body lift. The flares are an off the shelf item from Clark rubber sold by the meter.

The flares weren't cheap.. $25p/m. In hindsight, I probably should have gone for the flat plastic garden bed surround stuff.

Like a glove..

A bloke that I spoke to (who had put the same bar on a frontera) told me I'd have to cut the crush tube things shorter.

So when I did a "dummy" fit and found that the bar slid perfectly into place, I was very happy :D

Unsure if this would be the same for an ARB bar.

ARB bars fit over the crush tubes as well. Having said that, I cut mine out anyway so I dont have the worry when i alter the bars for the body lift. Not that you need to cut them out for that!
