Re: New MU! Odometer, speedometer, gears, locker, etc questions
Alan, its an old Mu thats doing what offroad Mu’s do. Lots of Mu’s have speedo issues. Not sire about bighorns so I wont comment on something Ive never owned.

Re: New MU! Odometer, speedometer, gears, locker, etc questions
Most of your questions crack me up- you wont be worried about the gitterey speedo once you notice all the other Mu traits!
Most rev needles work intermittantly or not at all, speedo will be all over the show but you get use to it. Speedo runs off a cable screwed into the side of the gearbox. Rev ...

Re: Me ol’ Mu
Love the front lokka I have- makes it way more capable and is far less likely to break things when you compair it to the old method of getting a run up for everything. I can now crawl over most things.
If I could do my suspension again I would save all the money I wasted and go directly to ...

Re: Me ol’ Mu
After all that pissing around with the leaf springs (iron man & dobson leafs) I am pretty happy with the stock leafs + shackles as long as your arm combo. Ride is soft and height matches the front! 33” tyres and no rub.
Glad to be past that mod...!

Front and rear are exactly the same ...

Re: Do torsion bars loose spring over time?
Heres a price indication from when I was playing with my torsions.
You can only raise the front so far before they start hitting the upper bump stop which feels like you have no suspension at all!

“Hey, Sorry for the delay in responce, we are getting busier every day,
As the Mu is ...

Re: 1995 Rodeo DLX 4x4 2.8L Ute
Sounds like an interesting setup- I have done a lot of mods to my 4jb1T, running 16psi but my egts are higher than yours. The Intercooler water spray bar you talk about is most likely the difference- any chance you could load up some pictures of this?

Go the 4jb1-T!
How much boost are you running now? Do you get crazy high EGT’s with this setup?
