Bill in Portland, Oregon USA - Big thanks to all who contribute to the site and those who have answered my questions. There's very little info on 4JB1s in the US and I could not have made my repairs without this forum. I use the rig to hunt, fish, camp, and just go look at stuff. 124k on odo. So far I've changed the T-belt, water pump, new Rancho 9000xl shocks all around, changed all the fluids, and a few other misc items.
It has OK clearance for an RV. I used the 4x4 to get where other campers cant go but not for real rock crawling or heavy stuff.
Modifications and Accessories:
Suspension: Rancho 9000xl came stock on rig
Tyres/Wheels:
Traction Aids: manual asain hubs
Dual Batteries: yes
Engine: 4JB1-T
Exhaust: rotten - soon to be 2.5
Sound system: diesel
External: white
Internal: dog hair, beer cans, and gear
Others: When I can convince them to come along
