4jh1 4wd in vehicle bearing replacement?

Just found metal flakes and small pieces of metal during oil change. There has been a subtle thump-thump for a long time - suspect main bearing failure. Haven't checked oil pressure, but no unusual signs from oil light.
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace 4jh1 bearings with the engine in vehicle? Would dropping front diff allow enough space to remove the sump?

There are 2 bolts inside the bell housing, so best way is to remove the engine to do mains and big end bearings

Thanks, apologies for the delayed response, I got a bit tied up with other things.
Any tips for engine removal and parts? Would you suggest mains, big ends, thrust bearings and seals? Anything else?
Do you have any suggestions for suppliers of the parts and bearings?

I would say will need a crank grind if its run a bearing, do mains, big ends, thrust, check small end bush in pistons, need tube of silicone, front and rear crank seals, front cover gaskets, also check oil pump while you have the sump off, to be honest a secondhand engine would be almost cheaper and easier, to get it out take bottom tin bit off the sump is the only trick
