Price of head gasget at garage

Has anyone had a head gasget done at a garage in the uk and how much was it as I'm dreading the price it is a old family friend so wats a good price thanks
So often that engine cracks heads so expect the price to go up Mine cost 1600NZ to buy a head and a couple of hundred for the gaskets plus 3 or 4 hours labor.
Dont know your labour rates. Do get the head crack tested
