After breaking two tierod adjusters on my last two hard yaka trips I have bit the bullet and upgraded the steering.
Ordered a set of the heavy duty adjusters from independent4x.com
steering upgrade
Re: steering upgrade
By Adjusters do you mean the bar between the 2 tie rod end ball joints?
If you are regularly breaking them then it might be a good idea but I have one question.
Which part would you rather change in the bush or carry in your needed spare parts and tools box?
Tie rod, Centre link, idler arm or steering box.

Re: steering upgrade
if any one needs some spares let me know i have a couple for sale all lubed and turning nice
Re: steering upgrade
I have broken two. Both breakages resulted in the wheel over extending which smashed a CV. The first time I wasn't prepared. The second I had spares and did a quick trailside fix.
Yes this will move the break point , hopefully just bending the drag link. To be honest they are easy to break. If they get the slightest bend in them then they will snap without warning. My driving style isn't rough so I hope to avoid future breakages.
