Nothing lasts forever.
Water pump is most likely or its gasket as second choise.
Do make sure this is where its coming from as 2 hoses run above this and behind the inlet manifold. These could easily cause lots of water around the front of the engine and resulted in one of only 2 tows home in 12 years for my bighorn.
Not hard to change but lots easier with the radiator out

Sorry I don't any part numbers for a water pump, when mine went (a long time ago) I researched into it and found one at repco, (GBM WP 1100 for the jackaroo 4GJ2).
I am unsure if this will the 2.8 or even the 3.1 as the mechanic never told the part numbers he used, sorry
If you do find a part number could you please PM it,.......?
Best of luck

does the cambelt cover and bottom pulley need to be removed to get to the waterpump bolts?
i can only seem to see top bolts on the water pump so im assuming i need to tear the front off it...
my truck is weaping from the water pump, only every now and then and has never got hot.
but i got a waterpump for $65 so will change it anyway...

Yeah, remove the bottom pulley or you just making the job harder for yourself, I know... i did it without removing the bottom pulley and wasted most of my sunday trying to get bolt that had droped into the cambelt cover.
Once the cover is off its a simple job.

Hey Guys, Been a while since I did the timing belt on my other 4JB1-T, now I've got a waterpump that leaks on another 4JB1-T, I remember the crank pulley and timing belt cover have to come off to replace the water pump but does the timing belt also need to be removed to replace the waterpump? Thanks in advance

It can be done without removing the belt but if its more than half worn ie 50k its silly not to do it
