Hello to everyone,
Bought my first 1996 Isuzu MU Wizard last week, good price, body and interior in good condition, looking underneath today I discover the cv rubbers need replacing, though I will have to inspect them further to make sure not damaged inside. My question is, has anyone used the Universal Silicon Constant Velocity CV Boot Joint Kit Replacement? These are on ebay out of Hong Kong, the seller states that Silicone - More durable than rubber boot.

silicone is durable while flexing but also very soft. I tried a different soft boot several years ago and put a stick through it first trip. It would of bounced off a factory boot.
If you are doing beaches and roads they are probably very good but anywhere they can be directly hit with things they will be vulnerable.
If they are strech on type you need a special tool to take advantage of that feature and it only saves 10 minutes
