well i havent had any decent offers on the mu.
so i brought a front aussie locker, a bolt in steering shaft extension and ball joint spacers.
so hopefully delivery dosent take to long.

ive also started stripping my other mu for decent parts and its lsd
which will be getting shimmed up till its almost a locker.

A little less air in the tyres would of helped If you have beadlocks you can go below 10psi

they were on 17psi.

unfortunatly they dont bag out very well.

cant really tell from the pic but the front left tyre is just off the ground and
the back right was against a 60-70cm verticle rock face with a loose dirt bottom.

i had it on the back 2 wheels for a second or so before we decided to whinch it up.

That step would stop most vehicles .
17 isnt that low though. I normaly run 15 off road and drop to 10 if the going gets rough. Thats on 32x11.5x15 tyres. Catch with going below 20 is tubes as you can unseat the tyre bead which will deflate a tubeless. Catch below 10 is beadlocks as there is a risk of spinning the tyre which will rip the valve off the tube. If you dont have beadlocks be very gental at low pressures.
This site has some good pictures of how tyre pressure affects traction

Dragging up an old build. but what offset tyres are the 35's on and do you get any scrub? Could you also post a photo of a close up of the front guard chop?
Cheers

Plans are as follows.
1, rebuild motor over xmas.
2, 3" dump pipe.
3, fit new egt guage as i don't trust the one that's there at the moment.
4, fix all the body work after crazy house mate reversed into side of mu.
5, new turbo, rebuilt fuel pump, inter-cooler and water injection.

then drive the pants off the thing.

hi Jellis.
Where did you get the 2" wheels spacers from?
