Hello friends.
I have a '92 Isuzu MU, a Japanese 2.8 diesel engine.
The problem is that when I bought it, I noticed the brakes were a bit tight and leaking brake fluid.
I disassembled the rear axle because that's where the leak was visible. I discovered that the rear caliper cylinder was bent and outward. It left the pad butt against the disc, and this caused the disc to be completely worn out.
I've been looking for the caliper and disc for weeks, but couldn't find them. I've been to every auto body shop in Iquique, but nothing.
Now I've heard that the '88 Isuzu Troopers use the same disc and caliper, and that some diesel Chevrolet Luvs also have them, but so far I haven't been able to find them either.
Does anyone know what other truck I could use to install them?
Thanks, friends.

Re: Isuzu MU 92 Rear Disc Brakes
Finding them in good condition is fun. Troopers 88 to 92 as long as they have isuzu axles not dana Isuzu tfr and tfs not sure which years though but a photo will show if the handbrake connects to the caliper All the variants of the isuzu utes same years ie chevy luv etc and the amigos as long as they have isuzu axles. Dont know about the earlier Rodeo over there except they had leaf springs so not the same as our similar wizards.
Other option is to change the complete axle with a later Mu or ute. It should bolt up ok but has bigger brakes so might require a rim change
