Bighorn lift

Post by Offroaderks »

Hi people. Just joined. Great read. I own a 93 swb bighorn irmschur v6 manual. Am I right in saying that the lwb rear springs will give me a 2 inch lift in the rear?

They give a lift yes but 2 inches I doubt esspecially if second hand. I used Cobra extra raised springs but would recommend using just there basic raised as I really ended up a little high

Thanks for the reply. My irmschur is standard height and I have just fitted brand new 33 inch black lions. I get minimal rub on full lock only on the front mud guards. Hence why I'm wanting the lift. Due to body lifts needing cert these days, I'm wanting to do 2 inch suspension lift instead. Any recommendations for the cheapest 2 inch rear springs? And where to purchase them? Also have been told that rear springs from a solid axle au falcon fit and give two inch lift. Wanting to know if that is correct?

Any coil springs are cheap new, dont bother mix and matching stuff as it will break when you least want it to, repco maxitrac springs are cheap but my truck was 5mm lower with there leaf springs, cobra or dobi are also cheap springs

I'm surprised at how cheap they are to be honest. Trade me have sets for $235 so well worth spending the money. At least I know what I'm getting
