rear glass unlocking itself?

Hey guys.
Got a odd one. My rear tailgate glass on my mu seems to always unlatch itself? I slam it shut and check it amd it's fine. Go for a drive and bam. Unlocked. It doesn't open itself just unlocks. Any ideas as to what's going on?

The problem would appear to be either electrical or mechanical. Can you easily isolate the rear tailgate glass solenoid and see if the problem persists?

The rear glass and tailgate alignment/adjustment can also be a bit fussy sometimes too.

also the wires break in the tailgate to the body in the flexy rubber and short out when you are driving(had it with mates mu with the number plate lights)

Yeah mine does this too. Doesn't do it that often. Usually when it's pissing down with rain or I'm in the middle of the river/mud

One of my Mu's does this too. Sometimes I'll go weeks without it happening and then it'll do it 3 times in a day.....

As I posted earlier ^^ I must get around to isolating the electrical side of things to see if it is a mechanical thing as I suspect that it could be something to do with the rear door moving a little bit....

Or a loose wire...

I have noticed that the little chrome plated latch screwed to the window glass is about a quarter worn through.

mine the same turn turn. One day it will be fine and the next just keep popping open. (i disconnected the electrical side of things and made no difference) I have diagnosed it as a MU quirk. I tape it down if im on the tracks and its giving me the shits.
