nice truck mate. you have done well. love the bighorn tyres, how have you found them?
Re: Broken Mu no longer Broken
ARB bars fit over the crush tubes as well. Having said that, I cut mine out anyway so I dont have rhe worri when i alter the bars for the body lift. Not that you need to cut them out for that!
Re: Broken Mu no longer Broken
Thanks for the comments oompa. As for the bighorns, they've gone through mud, clay, large loose rocks, ruts and river crossings without any trouble, so I have absolutely no complaints. They've also done 5000km's of on road use with very very minimal wear.
Muzila - I don't see how those crush tubes are in the way of putting the bar on with a body lift. I left my crush tubes alone and my MU has a 50mm body lift.
Regards
Michael

Hey Mate,
Nice job with the MU. If you remember, how easy was 50mm body lift? Also where from and how much was the kit if you remember?
I am thinking to get 33" wheels and body lift is somewhat necessary.
PS: Your dump pipe done magic for my MU. I also got the rest of the exhaust in 2 & 3/4 (due to press bend).
PPS: Rancho 9000 are the best money I spent on the car after the exhaust! I also got a kit for in-cabin control.

Hi MU31TD,
I got my body lift from http://www.trademe.co.nz - there is a set listed on there at the moment, but it may or may not be the same seller
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 499938.htm
It was fairly easy to install, except for the back two blocks. I think that the seller had sent me the wrong thread bolts or they were too short for those ones.. it's been a while
there seems to be a seller in aus on ebay though;
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-ALLOY-BODY ... 2a0d8c6883
and thank you MRMUD for the kind words.

Re: Broken Mu no longer Broken
Broken Mu is no longer mine.
Had to sell the old girl since injuring my back made four wheel driving off limits which in turn made it unfeasible to keep a fully setup 4wd as well as a falcon.
Sold to a guy in the south east suburbs of Vic.

sorry to here that. Hope your back recovers to a point that you can comfortably do most things.
Hope you introduced the new owner to this forum.

Cheers for the well wishes.
I hadn't thought about introducing him to the forums at the time. I still have his number, so I will let him know about clubisuzu. He seemed like a genuinely good bloke who knew a fair bit about the Mu, I guess he might have some information that could help others.
