3 beeps!

Post by bongli »

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone had experienced hearing 3 beeps while their Bighorn is on the move. I usually hear this 3 beeps after I turn off the engine. I am concerned if any of the sensor is failing or if there is something I need to check or get serviced. By the way, my Bighorn is an import converted to LHD, and not all dash lights and warning lights are working when we got it from the shop which converted it.

Thanks in advance!

Its possibly the sound system. The beeping can usually be turned off in the settings of the head unit.
It beeps to remind you to remove the front panel (fascia) of the head unit if you choose to.

loose wire on the stereo? Does the stereo go off when this happens? Does it happen with the stereo turned off?

Hi Geeves, it happened while the stereo was off. Could loose wire also be the cause of my stereo turning on and off while all my lights and acc are ON?

Try removing the fuse to the radio and see if it still does it. Loose wires cause all sorts of havoc.

Normal from a number of aftermarket stereo head units.
