Off road around Rotorua
Re: Off road around Rotorua
2 options
Have a look at http://www.nzfwda.org.nz/clubs/c57/ and contact one of these clubs. This is the best option as yoou get to access private as well as public land and also get a group of fellow 4wders to go with you.
Second option is to get Andy Cockroft 4wd adventures book 3 This is a little out of date though now so not everywhere is still available

Re: Off road around Rotorua
Why would anyone be arguing about towhooks???

Re: Off road around Rotorua
not fair
If everyone built there towhooks on the basis that if your hook comes off its you that gets to do first aid everyone would do hooks plenty strong enough.
Ive refused to snatch pull a vehicle by the mounted hook (wrapped a strap round the chassis in one case and winched in the other)
