my new Wizard

Post by geeves »

Description:
I still have the old faithful Bighorn for the rough trips but needed a slightly bigger wagon than my Toyota Carib as a road car as it struggled with all the junk I take camping and if away tramping it could only just cope with 4 people and packs. Since Ive been here forever I thought I should be faithful to the brand hence a 96 Wizard that will not really be going off road until the Bighorn finally kicks the bucket The bighorn has failed to get me home twice in 15 years. I expect no less of this Isuzu

Modifications and Accessories:

Suspension: Standard I think although the rear springs look newer than everything else
Body Lift: No
Tyres/Wheels: Aftermarket mags and 245/70/16 Firestone Destination AT
Traction Aids: (LSD, auto lockers or Air/electric lockers etc) LSd acording to the build plate. Havent checked yet
Bullbar: Fancy chrome one
Spot lights and Lighting: Fancy chrome and not working
Communications/GPS: The Chinese one I have here will be installed
Dual Batteries: No
Engine: 4jg2 stock Auto trans
Exhaust: possibly stock
Sound system: Sony powerdrive
External: (any other bits you've done, snorkle, rock, sliders/bar work, roof rack, boonet scoops flares etc) Unusual side steps Tow hooks in the planning stage
Internal: (any interanl mods, like false floor, water storage, storage slide etc) fake wood dash
Others:not yet
