Re: BUDGET COIL SAS TIME

Very impressive. Are you doing this for fun or doing comps?

Re: 1999 Trooper Running Problems

This is the 4JX1 motor. Plenty of info on the itocuk.co.uk forum. In the cooler climate I think a 0W-30 oil better. Check oil level if increasing, check coolant for diesel.

Re: Tail&park lights/illumination

Have you done any work on the electrics? Do you have a trailer plug fitted? Finding a wiring short is lots of fun ........not.

I would start with lights fitted to bullbar or bumper rather than dash

Re: Mu to the Cape

I did the cape 2012 in the Jackaroo broke a tie rod so busted a cv. I have auto locker in front diff. I always suggest a spare tie rod being a long way from home.

Clayton, your flares? Are they oem? How did you attach them to the body? Can you put up a closer pic of attached inside the wheel arch? Cheers

Well done mate.

I will be interested if you think you will have as much ramp over with the gearbox mounting change to chassis as your original Jack.

I have not started my convert yet but have decided to re shell my UBS69 chassis rather than replace the 4JX1 motor because I like the ...
