This is the 4JX1 motor. Plenty of info on the itocuk.co.uk forum. In the cooler climate I think a 0W-30 oil better. Check oil level if increasing, check coolant for diesel.

Have you done any work on the electrics? Do you have a trailer plug fitted? Finding a wiring short is lots of fun ........not.

I did the cape 2012 in the Jackaroo broke a tie rod so busted a cv. I have auto locker in front diff. I always suggest a spare tie rod being a long way from home.

Clayton, your flares? Are they oem? How did you attach them to the body? Can you put up a closer pic of attached inside the wheel arch? Cheers
