When I bought parts for my 4JA1 the dealer pulled out the 4JB1T and con rods pistons to show me. The Con rods were thicker, and gudeon pins bigger dia, but that was the non-turbo 2.5 tp the turbo 2.8, not sure about the turbo 2.5 and non-turbo 2.8. I now have a non-turbgo 4JA1 in my NKR motorhome ...
