Ok, so after finding out that I would be quite good as a contortionist (my big word for the day) I have found that the oil is not leaking from the sump gasket.. WOOHOO!!! But it is leaking probably about 3 inches above where the sump and block meet.... so now to check the rear main and plan from ...

The thing is that the sump gasket on my motor has a front rubber and rear rubber, and the rebuild kit I got said to use a silicone gasket for the sides. I was thinking about making a cardboard gasket to throw in as well, but I cant see it helping

I am 90 percent sure it is the sump, but I will try changing the oil filter and tightening the housing (if that is what it is called) and see what happens :) thanks guys

It is coming from drivers side back of the block, got heaps of blowby, but still getting pressure release from the pcv. Have been scratching my head for 2 weeks, and still havent come any closer to solving it. Not looking forward to pulling the motor back out again (due to lack of decent tools this ...
