Re: 4jg1t "franken-engine"
The main reason for this is because of the efficiency and durability of the engine. Power from the engine is not necessary, as long as it is still standard

Re: 4jg1t "franken-engine"
I am interested in converting my 4jg2 EFI to Direct Injection like you did. Awesome. Need help from you, according to what you post, I just need to buy a 4jg1 piston, 4jb1 head, 4jh1 injector, right? The others all use 4jg2 such as overhaul kits, liners and others. Is it possible to maintain the use ...

Re: 4JG2 EFI crank/cam sensor issues
Probably the circuit in the ecu of the Np signal reception part is faulty. But to find it you have to have expertise in electronics and eye acuity. For me, it's hard.

Re: Diesel getting into engine oil and no power
If the D Max model 2014, must use a 4JJ1 or 4JK1 engine, right? Not sure if for this engine, but it has happened with 4JB1 engine, timing gear. Engine oil mixed with diesel, caused by the pulley shaft oil seal on the fuel pump is leaking. Replace the oil seal, the problem is solved

Re: 1997 Bighorn Injector Pump Swap Tachometer
The gray socket for the original sensor is directly connected to the ECU. ECU converts signal from NP sensor and sends to tachometer through another wire connection. (pink stripe black wire if I am not mistaken). Use this wire to turn on the tachometer because it connects directly to the meter in ...

Re: Mech pump into efi truck and trans not changing right.
There are 3 wires out from ECU to TCU if I am not mistaken. TPS position and torque out. Torque out wires do not know whether data out or trigger only.

Re: Mech pump into efi truck and trans not changing right.
If it is changed, the auto gearbox will lose direction to change the gear perfectly. TCU needs input from the ECU to function properly

Re: Mech pump into efi truck and trans not changing right.
That means have you changed the pump or are you still using the efi pump

Re: 4JG2 EFI crank/cam sensor issues
NP sensor responsible for give signal to ecu to drive rpm and injection timing. If it is damaged, the ecu will use the signal from the crank sensor to start the engine. But in case NP sensor fails, crank sensor works, rpm needle does not move, engine idle is unstable but can still be driven, engine ...
