So to avoid the thought I've gone out to get a stock pedal for the manual just as a precaution ...

Re: 6VD1 Auto to Manual Conversion started
Bloody small space to get the Clutch pedal and master cylinder free, just need to drill a hole in the LWB firewall so the master cylinder and pedal can link. I found someone has boxed & mounted the ECU onto the studs for the pedal and master cylinder so will need to find an alternative for the ECU ...

Ran outta people space with my SWB Manual 6VD1 and picked up a LWB Auto 6VD1 bout a year ago knowing the auto was on its way out. <br/>Well the Auto did and so cos its near $5k for a refurbished unit or mine gets repaired in Hamilton and, a 2nd unit from the wreckers is a lucky dip, I'm left with a ...

Re: 90km/hr Vibration - CV Inner/Outer
Ahhhh - yes missed the parallel point with the flanges - Shackles? I couldn't see any as I have springs. Sorry no bent driveshaft that would've been picked up at the balance shop. So is my mod missing a mod for the rear end? Cheers for dropping in slightlydodgy.

Re: 90km/hr Vibration - Ball joint mod found
Well found out the ball joints have been modified - they're fitted under the control arms. No spacers are fitted on the rear springs. I noticed the driveshaft is angled downwards (not excessively IMO) on to the diff flange but didn't consider it being an issue until now. So I'll adjust the torsion ...

Re: 90km/hr Vibration Update
Too true geeves - so I went over them again the ball joints are all tight and the tie rods too. No clunking or play or squeaking evident after lifting each side on the lower control arms and lifting each wheel upndown. But... as i went round to check the LH Front wheel there appeared to be some ...

Re: 90km/hr Vibration - CV Inner/Outer
They are pretty tight thanks mudslinger but I guess one would have to dismantle each item to really see if there is any worn parts
